“They inspire you, they entertain you, and you end up learning a ton even when you don’t know it”
― Nicholas SparksDear John

hEr VOLUTION is celebrating National Education Week  and are honoured to recognize a woman who has been invaluable to our success so far! She has a rich background in education with over 10 years experience teaching both in-class and online at the secondary and post-secondary level, as well as in adult and continuing education. She currently designs and creates education and training materials for educators, employers, and industry professionals. Her current interests include the promotion of 21st Century Skills, STEM and STEAM education, as well as the development of online learning communities.

What makes her remarkable is her high interest in supporting education to women in STEM. Since the time we met, when I mentioned to her some goals and aspirations for hEr VOLUTION she immediately became involved with us in planning workshop ideas, hosting and running workshops for us and supporting in raising awareness about our mission and vision through blog posts and sharing news on Social Media.

Please meet Amy Leask, the VP and co-founder of Enable Training and Consulting, Inc., an invaluable and amazing educator who has a great passion for learning and seeing women succeed, particularly in STEM fields. She is an avid advocate for knowledge and always wears a smile on her face when teaches kids about Philosophy and Science and Technology and Mathematics. There are no words to express how grateful hEr VOLUTION community is to Amy for her support and passion to learning. It was with Amy’s passion for learning that hEr VOLUTION was able to run our workshops so far and introduce so many girls and their parents to STEM education.

On this National Education Week we want to recognize Amy Leask for her involvement with us and for leaving her legacy behind by collaborating with us in making a difference in young women’s lives though sharing knowledge and resources to help make the world a better place.
