And that’s a wrap on 2021’s

Phase 1 of STEMing UP
and
GO!stem 2021

Check out the amazing highlights from both our programs this summer!

STEMing UP Phase 1

We are very happy to announce that Phase 1 of the STEMing UP had been nothing short of amazing.  We have had a total of 10 teams work towards solutions for 5 challenges that support a total of 3 businesses.

Program participants have learned about Business Planning and Start Up, Branding and Marketing, UX Design, AI, Quantum Computing and Dev Degree Program.

“My expectations were not just met but highly exceeded. The timings, the coaches, the trainers, the peers and the classmates were always on top of their games and whenever I had felt lost they were all willing to help me.”

We are looking forward to Phase 2 when the participants will come together to complete their projects and to share that with you.

Meet Anne Genge, One of Our GO!stem Guest Speakers!

Why our amazing guest speaker at
Alexio Corporation
chose to participate in the GO!stem program:

Anne Genge CIPP/C CHCSP CCSP
Certified Privacy & Security Professional
CEO, Alexio Corporation

“I love GO!stem. This program attracts and develops big brained impressive young women. I love the amazing ideas that get the chance to be cultivated as a result of hEr VOLUTION, and the dedication of partners and volunteers. I got involved with hEr VOLUTION a few years back. I was nominated for A hEr VOLUTION Canada top 150 Women in Stem award. When I went to the conference I was amazed by the founder Doina Oncel. She was doing what was so badly needed…creating visibility, opportunity, and pathways for young women to embrace STEM careers. I was captivated by the story of her own journey. I just knew I had to be a part of it.”

GO!stem could be the program for you!

GO!stem Virtual Summer Program is a five day program that enables 13 to 17 years old girls with the opportunity to explore a variety of STEM careers and skill sets in a new and exciting way. The program will take place online and it will be available to girls 13 – 17 years old that reside in Ontario.

This year, the focus of the program is to explore various STEM careers and paths. Attendees will have a chance to hear from industry professionals and learn about a day in their life. There will be interactive activities for providing guidance and developing skill sets.

This program aims to inspire all participants by sharing knowledge on the various STEM opportunities available to them, helping to guide them on their future paths.
