Our first ever #GvingTuesdayCA campaign has had a simple message: Inspiring girls to embrace STEM careers.
Why do we do this? Statistics show that although 59% of women are Science and Technology graduates, only 23% of them hold an Engineering degree and only 30% of them are Math and computer science, graduates. In 1987, only 20 % of the people working in STEM fields were female, a number that has raised up to only 22 % to date.
What IMPACT do donations bring?
- 61.7 % of participants mentioned that hEr VOLUTION’s programs helped them decide their education path
- 44.4 % wanted to pursue a career in STEM after participating in a hEr VOLUTION program
