If I can help young women of colour see their future selves in me, then that first obstacle is moved out of the way. The GO!stem programme gives girls early mentorship – before selecting their high school electives and university paths, which is an important factor to increasing women in mining and other STEM industries.”
GO!stem could be the program for you!
GO!stem Virtual Summer Program is a five day program that enables 13 to 17 years old girls with the opportunity to explore a variety of STEM careers and skill sets in a new and exciting way. The program will take place online and it will be available to girls 13 – 17 years old that reside in Ontario.
This year, the focus of the program is to explore various STEM careers and paths. Attendees will have a chance to hear from industry professionals and learn about a day in their life. There will be interactive activities for providing guidance and developing skill sets.
This program aims to inspire all participants by sharing knowledge on the various STEM opportunities available to them, helping to guide them on their future paths.
