At hEr VOLUTION, we recognize the importance of access to quality education and the support from the community as we see that there is still a big need to include girls and young women in STEM learning. Some STEM programs today are still very male-dominated and most girls decide to not enroll in those classes as they lack the confidence to be in a room full of men. It’s during the crucial years when girls and young women already see the cruel reality of the workforce before they even get their first job!
Our upcoming conference was created just for that, to show girls and young women that they too have the support and that the community that they need in order to thrive in a career of choice. Mentorship and education go hand in hand.
