GO!stem Virtual Summer Program is a five day program that enables 13 to 17 years old girls with the opportunity to explore a variety of STEM careers and skill sets in a new and exciting way. The program will take place online and it will be available to girls 13 – 17 years old that reside in Ontario.
This year, the focus of the program is to explore various STEM careers and paths. Attendees will have a chance to hear from industry professionals and learn about a day in their life. There will be interactive activities for providing guidance and developing skill sets.
This program aims to inspire all participants by sharing knowledge on the various STEM opportunities available to them, helping to guide them on their future paths.
The program is available at no cost to qualifying families and you must apply to ensure you fit the qualifying criteria.
Criteria to qualify is:
- MUST have an interest in STEM, no previous experience necessary
- girls ages 13-17 living in Ontario facing multiple barriers
- be willing to be fully engaged and participate in all five days of the program from 1:30 – 4:00 pm
- considering a study and/or career path in STEM-related field
- must live in Ontario and have access to a laptop and internet connection
