We're STEMing UP!

“It is our mission to inspire young women to invest in and aspire for STEM careers, especially those from underserved areas who may not have access to all necessary resources”

Become a Challenge Partner

Help young women develop a valuable portfolio project!

STEMing UP is looking for innovative partners to provide project challenges to the young women participating in the program. By providing real-world projects that our students can work on, challenge partner companies help them develop their technical and entrepreneurial skills, confidence, and portfolio.

But this is a two-way street! Real-world projects mean that our students are planning to provide you with real-world solutions. Challenge partners not only get satisfaction from supporting young women in STEM but valuable work in return.

We partner with companies that align with our values and mission in order to help foster the right environment for learning. We want companies that:

*Are women-led
*Open to new ideas
*Able to create 3-4 challenges
*Can commit to in-person visits and attendance.

Does this sound like your company? Then we would love to hear from you! Please apply here:

FAQ's

Q: I’ve sent in my application! Now what?

A: Amazing! Successful challenge partners will be selected by members of hEr VOLUTION’s Board and STEMing UP partners. Once we have determined successful applications, you will be notified via email.

Q: We don’t have 3-4 challenge ideas, but we want to participate, what do we do?

A: hEr VOLUTION and our partners will help you create and make sure that your challenges fit within our program guidelines.

Q: Why is there a cost for some companies?

A: hEr VOLUTION works with the most underserved communities of GTA, therefore, there is no cost for students who are from low income families. Also, if your company does not have any profits and you are selected for this program, there is no cost to you.
