3. How does hEr VOLUTION help girls and young women in STEM?

hEr VOLUTION's main goal is to close the gender gap in STEM fields through inspiring more girls and young women to explore studies which involve science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We do this through a variety of ways such as workshops, raise awareness of the fun and innovative careers in STEM fields, talking at events and schools, and through collaboration with the STEM industries which will then support the idea of making their workplace inclusive of more women in these fields.

hEr VOLUTION became an incorporated not for profit agency on February 14, 2013.

5. Who does hEr VOLUTION help most?

hEr VOLUTION focuses on creating opportunities for girls and young women from underprivileged neighbourhoods, low-income households, and new immigrants. We also accept boys in our programs designed for 7-12 years old kids. We strongly believe that our forward-thinking approach is the best way to “normalize” the societal behaviour towards women.

6. Where does hEr VOLUTION hold its services?

Our programs are held in partnership with private sector STEM based companies as well as educational institutions such as Colleges and Universities across GTA and, eventually, Canada.
