150 Days of Canadian Women in STEM: Week 8 Wrap Up

By Jennifer Smith Gray on April 9, 2017 under CanWomenSTEM150

Spring is in the air in Toronto and we are starting to gear up for the summer wrap-up event for the 150 Days of Canadian Women in STEM campaign. Each week in which we are introduced to six inspiring women in STEM through social media brings us one week closer to the July 15th #CanWomenSTEM150 Conference.

The major objective of this conference is to gather 15 Canadian women in STEM who will share their experiences to over 100 conference attendees, through STEM Talks and STEM Panels.

The conference will be primarily open to students who are looking for opportunities in STEM and professionals in the field who are looking to support diversity and close the gender gap for women in STEM.

We expect that event will sell out, but you can secure early-bird pricing here: https://www.picatic.com/CanWomenSTEM150.

And if if you missed any of the inspiring women’s profiles that were posted this week, you can catch up on all of them here:

Between now and July 15, follow hEr VOLUTION’s 150 Days of Canadian Women in STEM on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter to read unique and inspiring stories of Canada’s females who are having an impact in STEM.
